Darfur 2004 – Then as now
Paolo Pellegrin born in Rome, originally studied architecture before discovering his passion for photography. The subjects he pursues include immigration, AIDS, terrorism, slavery, and voodoo. In 2006, he won the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography for his project “Maktub – It is written. A journey through the lands of Islam.” Click HERE to view his work in Darfur last year.
