Staff Pick: Katherine Dykstra

I so enjoyed Antonya Nelson’s new short story collection Nothing Right: Short Stories. The stories all revolve around midwestern women in complicated relationships, both familial and romantic. The highlight for me was how realistically each of the women was drawn.

Bio: Katherine Dykstra is the nonfiction editor at Guernica. Her interview with Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, Cracked, Not Shattered, appeared in Guernica’s August 2008 issue.
