This weekend, Guernica is delighted to share in PAGE TURNER: The Asian American Literary Festival.

At noon on Saturday, October 29, Guernica editor Joel Whitney will be moderating an Occupy Wall Street panel with National Book Award-nominee Monica Youn, Guggenheim Fellow Mark Nowak, and acclaimed memoirist Dora Calott Wang. Join us as they discuss their diverse perspectives on electoral politics, corporate control of healthcare, and all things OWS.

Open to readers of all backgrounds, PAGE TURNER is the only event of its kind—a multi-day celebration of the best minds in American arts and politics: Jessica Hagedorn, Junot Díaz, Amitav Ghosh, Hari Kunzru, Min Jin Lee, Amitava Kumar, Teju Cole, Jen Kwok, Ed Lin and nearly thirty other writers. Come for the post-identity discourse, high-toned literary hoo-ha, and warm sense of community. Stay for the cocktail receptions, haiku market, and drunken Scrabble.

Please see our invitation here.
