Guernica Contributor Tim Elhajj to Participate in Reading for Best Sex Writing 2012

Guernica contributor Tim Elhajj will participate in the Best Sex Writing reading in Portland on April 6. Elhajj will be reading from “An Unfortunate Discharge”, his Guernica piece featured in our August 2010 issue. The piece describes Elhajj’s experience in the Navy and was selected for Best Sex Writing 2012: The State of Today’s Sexual Culture from Cleis press, edited by Susie Bright and Rachel Kramer Bussel.

Bussel will also be present at the reading, along with writers Kevin Sampsell and Lidia Yuknavitch.

The reading will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Powell’s Bookstore in Portland.
