rsz_bates.jpgYesterday, multiple Guernica staffers had the great joy of receiving a press release announcing the publication of La Figa: Visions of Food and Form, which features “models wearing nothing but the edible creations of James Beard award-winning chef Tiberio Simone.” (Yes, figa does mean c*nt in Italian.) In the book trailer below, the delightfully smarmy Tiberio offers gems of wisdom, reminding readers of “the essential ingredients of life: eating well and making love and creating art.” Unfortunately, for Tiberio, “art” just means a shot of a woman with a fig over her figa.
