Lauren Beukes is the author of five novels, including Zoo City, The Shining Girls and Afterland, which have won multiple awards, been translated into twentyfive languages. She’s previously worked as a journalist, documentary maker and showrunner on South Africa’s first half hour animated TV show, Pax Afrika. She also writes comics and screenplays.
