Emily Fragos

Emily Fragos is the recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship in Poetry, the Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, and the national Witter Bynner Poetry Prize from the Library of Congress. She is the author of three acclaimed books of poetry, Little Savage, Hostage, and Saint Torch, and the editor of seven poetry anthologies for the Everyman’s Pocket Library, including Music's Spell, The Dance, Art and Artists, The Letters of Emily Dickinson, Poems of Paris, and Poems of Gratitude. She has written numerous articles on music and dance. Fragos is a native New Yorker who currently teaches at NYU and Columbia University.
