Nahid Rachlin attended Columbia University’s MFA program on a Doubleday-Columbia Fellowship and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. She has published four novels, including Foreigner, Persian Girls: A Memoir, and a short story collection, Veils. Her stories have appeared in about fifty magazines. One was produced by Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts and was aired on NPR radio stations around the country. She has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and PEN Syndicated Fiction and Bennett Cerf awards. Her website is nahidrachlin.com.
