Rohingyatographer Collective

Rohingyatographer is a groundbreaking photography magazine created by and for the Rohingya community. Born in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, it emerged as a collective response to misrepresentation, reclaiming the narrative through the lens of those who live it. The magazine showcases powerful visual stories captured by Rohingya photographers, offering intimate perspectives on daily life, resilience, and identity in exile. More than just a publication, Rohingyatographer is a platform for cultural expression, self-representation, and human dignity. It challenges dominant narratives, reframes the Rohingya experience beyond victimhood, and affirms the community’s creative agency. With each edition, it continues to assert: the Rohingya are not voiceless — they have voices, and they are photographic.
