Suzanne Levine

Suzanne Levine is a photographer living in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Her work examines the mystery and beauty of the everyday, reflecting the interplay of the visible and invisible in the natural world. Her most recent series is a visual meditation on the Hudson River, an articulation of its vibrancy, fluidity and timelessness. Levine has an extensive background in photographic printing, including early processes such as platinum printing and collotype. Ten years ago, she made the transition to digital printmaking, working with archival pigment-based inks on a variety of fine art papers to bring the aesthetics of traditional printing to the modern inkjet print. When she's not making pictures, Suzanne works as an architectural designer on projects throughout the Hudson Valley.
