Tanya Erzen is a Soros Justice Media Fellow and is finishing a book about faith-based programs in American prisons and the conservative movement for prison reform. She is the author of Straight To Jesus: Sexual and Christian Conversions in the Ex-Gay Movement and Fanpire: The Twilight Saga and the Women Who Love It, and has written for The Nation, The Boston Globe, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and otheres. She teaches at the University of Puget Sound and directs a college program in the Washington Corrections Center for Women.
