Zoë Eisenberg

Zoë Eisenberg is a writer, filmmaker and circus producer. Zoë creates stories and spaces in and about her home on Hawai’i island. Her films have been supported by Tribeca Studios, Netflix and PBS, and have played theatrically across Hawai’i. Her solo directorial debut Chaperone premiered at Slamdance in 2024 and took home the Grand Jury Award for Breakouts. Zoë’s debut novel Significant Others was published in 2024 and is currently being adapted for the screen in partnership with Storm City Films (History of Sound, Hedda).

Lauren Trangmar

Lauren is an artist and graphic designer based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Merging meticulous, labor-intensive techniques with digital tools, she builds a dialogue between traditional craft and contemporary visual culture. Her work spans graphic design, illustration, digital imaging, printmaking, painting, and sculpture, referencing the precision of historical scientific illustration while interjecting subtle humor and modern context. Through this synthesis, Lauren examines connections between storytelling, myth, science, and authenticity, inviting viewers to consider how culture and knowledge are constructed. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, she earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa after beginning her studies at the University of Canterbury. Her work has been exhibited internationally, with notable presentations including Artists of Hawai‘i 2015 at the Honolulu Museum of Art, which holds her work in its permanent collection.
