Dina Awwad-Srour
Dina Awwad-Srour is a writer, dancer, lecturer, and group facilitator from Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem in Palestine. Since 2012, she has lived in Eilaboun, a small Arab village in northern Israel, with her husband and four children. She co-created the
Etty Hillesum Cards with her friend Emma Sham-Ba Ayalon, drawing on Hillesum’s diaries and translating 100 selected quotes into Arabic and Hebrew. In 2024, Dina began her path as a Biodanza facilitator, becoming the first Arabic practitioner in the field. She is dedicated to bringing this expressive, life-affirming dance to Arabic-speaking communities.
