Alimrani

Alimrani (b. 1994, Gaza) is a Palestinian visual artist and theatre practitioner working in contemporary expressive and visual arts for the past decade. His figurative characters emerge from lived reality, weaving personal and collective experiences to address social and human questions of identity, memory, and exile. Expressionism underpins a practice that treats the body as a living visual archive, layered with symbolic elements from cultures, folklore, and history to open new spaces of dialogue between past and present. His work spans drawing, painting, video and performance, and has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Gaza, Paris and across France. Recent projects include the residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, the solo exhibition “Réfugié Palestinien,” and ongoing explorations of monologue, performance, and visual narrative.
