Linell Ajello writes about democracy and contemporary US culture. She has published in the academic journals Constellations and The International Journal of Cultural Studies, as well as in City Limits, a New York City news site. She earned her PhD in Theater from City University of New York, was a Mellon Fellow at Tulane University, and currently teaches in the Expository Writing Program at NYU.
