Stephen O’Connor is the author of Thomas Jefferson Dreams of Sally Hemings, and of Here Comes Another Lesson, a collection of short fiction. His story “Next to Nothing” was selected by Jennifer Egan for Best American Short Stories 2014. He teaches in the MFA programs of Columbia and Sarah Lawrence.
