Susan Kay Anderson

Susan Kay Anderson is an MFA candidate in writing at Eastern Oregon University and a 2010 National Poetry Series Finalist. She taught, variously, for the past thirty years at secondary and post-secondary institutions in Colorado, Oregon, Germany, and Hawaii. She has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Oregon and an MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado. She interviewed Virginia Brautigan Aste and the resulting memoir, Please Plant This Book Coast To Coast is looking for a publisher. Her recent work is in Beat Scene, BlazeVOX Journal Spring 2016, Concis, Caliban Online, Hawaii Civil Beat, Prairie Schooner, and featured on Tom Clark Beyond The Pale. She blogs at Hawaii Teacher Detective and lives in Eugene, Oregon.
