Guernica contributor and Waging Nonviolence editor Nathan Schneider appeared on Democracy Now! to offer a favorable assessment of the #OccupyWallStreet movement. He told Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman that they are learning the skills to tell their story to the media and that they were there on Wall Street as a demonstration of their right to have a political conversation. Amy Goodman reports in the segment that the Occupy Los Angeles movement has launched as well.
