Habibe Jafarian has worked at various newspapers and journals in Iran, including Hamshahri Javan, Mostanad, and Dastan. She is the author of several award winning biographies in Persian, including the life of the legendary Shia cleric Imam Musa Sadr, and the eminent war photographer Kaveh Golestan. Jafarian is senior editor at the Iranian film journal 24. She lives and works in Tehran.
