Iraj Isaac Rahmim’s writing has recently appeared in Antioch Review, Commentary, Commonweal, Gulf Coast, Missouri Review, Reason, and been broadcast by Pacifica Radio. A MacDowell Colony and Yaddo Fellow, Bread Loaf Scholar and two-time winner of Fugue’s First Prize, his writing has been selected five times as Best American Series Notable Essays. He has been awarded a Fellowship in Literature by the Texas Commission of the Arts and holds a PhD in biochemical engineering from Columbia University.
