Marvin George

Marvin George is a teaching-artist interested in performance and popular development. He serves as artistic director of Mount D’or Cultural Performers, is a board member/director for Arts-in-Action, Caribbean Yard Campus, and the Artistic Director at Jouvay Ayiti, all in his native, Trinidad and Tobago. Marvin is a Commonwealth Scholar who holds a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of the West Indies, and an MA in Theatre and Development Studies from Leeds University. Marvin has begun PhD research on a project entitled Mas action: Making mas with development; Making development with mas.
