Rachel Parsons is a Chicago-based teacher and writer. Her work has appeared in Bleu Magazine, The Culture Trip, Z Magazine, Organizing Upgrade, Schools: Studies in Education, and will be featured in the upcoming anthology Nasty Women and Bad Hombres: Historical Reflections on the 2016 Presidential Election. She is an avid reader and sees writing as an important tool for social change.
