Zakiya Harris is a recent MFA graduate of The New School's creative nonfiction writing program. Born in Connecticut but Tar Heel-bred at the University of North Carolina, she currently lives in Brooklyn where she works at a pie shop, ingests an unhealthy amount of coffee, reviews books, and blogs about pretty much everything at catchsomezee.wordpress.com.
