Claire Vaye Watkins is the author of a story collection, Battleborn (2012), and a novel, Gold Fame Citrus (2015). She has been published in a wide variety of magazines, including The Paris Review, Freemans, One Story, Ploughshares, Granta, the Hopkins Review, The Las Vegas Weekly, The Sycamore Review, and Glimmer Train. She received a fellowship from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and in 2017 was named one of Granta’s Best Young American Novelists.
