Talal Nadir Ansari is a writer and investigative journalist for BuzzFeed News. He is particularly interested in human rights issues, both domestically and abroad, and international politics. He has degrees from Columbia University and the University of California Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. He began his professional career as a relief worker during the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. There, he realized the power of media to move change in parts of the world that need it most.
