Rebecca Hazelwood

Rebecca Hazelwood lives in northern Alabama, where she is a lecturer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MFA from Georgia College. Her essays have appeared in December, Anthropoid, Hobart, Still, and PANK. She has been a finalist for the Curt Johnson Prose Awards, and earned an honorable mention for the Robert and Adele Schiff Awards. She is currently writing a memoir about violence, truth, and the breakdown of a family.
